IOTOD 2011 saw delegates consider key elements of the management of opioid dependence; including safety, the treatment armamentarium, balancing treatment access with risk management and complex patients.
Through the use of presentations, panel discussions, workshop sessions and a complex case study clinic, the meeting’s international faculty guided clinicians through such challenging topics as comorbidities, co-dependencies, drug–drug interactions and personalising treatment.
