The 16th annual ‘Improving Outcomes in the Treatment of Opioid Dependence’ (IOTOD) meeting took place at the Hilton Madrid Airport hotel on the 15–16 May 2018.
The 2018 IOTOD Scientific Committee headed-up the two-day meeting, with international experts invited to speak on topics such as hepatitis C care, overdose prevention, opioid agonist treatment and homelessness.
As well as interaction with speakers via voting handsets, the audience also got a unique opportunity to discuss their own complex clinical cases with an expert-led panel.
