The IOTOD conference has been running for 20 years. During this period, it has grown in renown and popularity, with over 6,500 delegates from all over the world attending over the years.
Since 2011, the IOTOD conference has been CME-accredited to ensure it maintains a high level of quality and independence every year.
2011 also marked the year measurement of delegate behavioural changes began. These measurements showed the IOTOD conference elicited measurable significant improvements in physician behaviours over the years, which have been published in the European Journal of CME.
