Biography
Sheila Alessi is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine and the Calhoun Cardiology Center – Behavioral Health at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Her research is dedicated to improving substance abuse and other behavioural health outcomes through evidence-based treatments, with an emphasis on contingency management interventions. She is especially interested in developing efficacious mobile and other technology-based interventions to target, support, and incentivise health.
